Respite (while eating a sandwich) in the park

*

I am covered in mosquito bites

*

There are finches
everywhere
hopping on
the red bricks
rubbing their
bellies between
gray stone
crevices

*

Saturday/ in the park/ little chest/ puffed/ in song/

*

Once,
I shared
in sound

Poem

you eyed me clean.......now it's a tango

gone terse.....................misbegotten two-step

clumsy skip...................fallen footed-flat

such is a slow sauntering somewhere south of hello

but how now.................as beat belabored

as body breaks...............placid fingers

..........strengthless for weight

............o unflappable bird

............rest here here now

drawn down exaggerated. accordion stutter

here head here!..............like that yes!

nozzle in the hollow.........of collar bone

linger .eyes. off. left.......leave your listless feet despite

maestro summoning.......despite crescendoed waves

despite another song......some other motion's music

Crooked Ass

In a midsummer's masturbation

...........................................it was a motherfucker of

......a mother tongue Tithonias

.....................................................torching to the amusement

.......................of bees & butterflies all

.....................big heads wings & such

...............................................................a shame she said she said

.......................he don't like her no how

......................her ass is crooked & shit she

.....................all teef anyway & we

laughed yesterday's

...........................................lovers' honeyed-moon

................................................................Hold me might have

.................slipped from a mouth

...................................................a want

...................................................to give

...................................................you something

...........more like a tender trombone

hello how have you been

.........................................but the ant on your

.......................................................shoe-lace as we crossed

...................................................................the street was distraction
not to mention the Indians-

..........................................poised-for-war-statues

.........................................Have we lost our way

............where's the lake again

..................................................again mouths move

for one & other clumsy

..........................................tongueing for narrative

...................................................................Yeah a motherfucker

........us so full of cavities
